Very bad experience had at RAK airport now - LHE flight today (18-05-23)! Online boarding done and seat issued at ROW 2 and when checked in at RAK airport counter then a Philippine lady and an Indian lady refused to offer same seat and moved my family on back seats! Extremely disappointing
This airlines and sharjah international airport is running a scam where when checking in they ask for travelers insurance. This was not mentioned in their website nor when booking a ticket. Then they sent people to SATA agency and they say it is mandatory. So everybody has to pay 100aed per person in order to get checked in.
