Al Dhafra Festival reviews
Been there back in December, 2011. We were the only Asians at the moment, and all the people were really kind to us. It was late afternoon, so we missed most of the show. But some people kindly escorted us to the range and showed us camels and allowed us to take pictures. Thanks again for the kindness.
It was our first time in Al Dhafra festival, although we have lived in UAE for 8 years. As we expected, people were extremely nice and hospitalary. The festival showcased the traditions of Bedouin life and the visionary future of UAE, with a variety of activities and performances. The facilities and amenities were well-maintained and there was a sense of excitement in the air. Overall, it was a great experience.
There was this glittering place in the middle of Liwa desert. The men were dancing softly with the sticks to a happy arabic tune. I loved the ladies' and children's clothes shops, perfume shops and most of all the pickle shop from where we bought our souvenir. The festival had a vibrant atmosphere and the staff were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend visiting the Al Dhafra festival.
