Working with APE was a wonderful experience for our students. A group of 10 students who were interested in conservation decided to reach out to APE to see how we could support them. We had wonderful interactions with both Stephanie and Mr. X. They were very knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They gave us a lot of information about the importance of conserving the environment and the animals that live in it. They also organized a tree planting activity for us, where we learned about different tree species and how they contribute to the ecosystem. Overall, working with APE was a great learning experience for our students and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them.
I am very glad that I contributed to APE Malaysia's reforestation efforts. So far we have planted 3 trees and I'm hoping that in 10 years the trees will be able to provide a fuller home for the gibbons, the birds, the monkeys and even orangutans. The experience of planting the trees was really rewarding and it made me appreciate the importance of reforestation in protecting wildlife habitats. The staff at APE were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they provided all the necessary information and tools for the tree planting activity. I would definitely recommend others to get involved with APE's conservation projects.
I feel so happy and proud that I was able to plant trees in Borneo. Poh Sim was prompt in responding to me and I even got a certificate, GPS coordinates and a photo of the tree. The organization will also watch over the tree for a year, to make sure it grows well. Thank you so much!
