I have been craving for the Keralite banana leaf meal for months. I saw one lady ordered this in a restaurant, it is a very traditional and nostalgic cuisine from Kerala- God’s own country’. It consists of piping hot steamed Kerala red rice served on a banana leaf with an assortment of curries, pickles, and other side dishes. The flavors were amazing and authentic, just like home-cooked food. The portion size was generous and I was completely satisfied. Definitely recommend trying it out!
Pothuchoru was delicious and affordable. For AED14, you get a big volume of food that is packed with flavors. The only downside was that after eating such a heavy meal, I felt sleepy and my brain didn't work properly in the afternoon.
Guys, don't go there. The staff's behavior is very rude and unacceptable. I had a terrible experience yesterday as they argued and tried to fight with me when they charged extra for white rice. It was a complete disappointment.
