We recently visited Copala restaurant in DIFC known for its mexican food and the ambience that makes you feel that you are in Mexico! There is excellent variety of food for vegetarians and non-vegetarians in every category from starters, main course to desserts. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only issue we had was with the wait time, as it took quite long for our food to arrive. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would definitely recommend it.
Was super excited to try out Copala after reading everyone’s reviews but I am sad to say we walk away disappointed! The restaurant was overcrowded and noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation. The food was mediocre at best, and not worth the high prices. The service was also slow and inattentive. Overall, it did not live up to the hype and I would not go back again.
If you are on a lookout for an original Mexican food with authentic taste, you need to try this place. We had lunch with friends. The food was exceptionally delicious, especially the tacos and guacamole. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere was lively. I would highly recommend Copala for a great dining experience.
