In 1974 to 1976 I was the welding inspector installing the LNG facilities , during this work I spent a brief period on Das Island with a beach pull hauling a pipeline ashore. This allowed me time to explore the island however it was not as beautiful and green as it is now. The effort that has been made to make the island beautiful and greeneries is highly appreciated.
