We went on a desert safari provided by Arab Land Adventure Tourism. We booked it online and it was really easy. Our tour guide Arif picked us up right on time from our hotel. We then drove approximately 80 km from Abu Dhabi to the desert.

I've only done one of these tours but I was very impressed. The driver was great and the camp was awesome. The food was good, not too extreme of flavors, pretty accessible to anybody.
