My mother had an extremely terrible experience with Dr Tan Ter Chyan. He came across as callous and unprofessional. Firstly, the metal rods were either not inserted properly or the cast around her hand was not done properly. This caused one of the fingers to become misaligned and resulted in severe pain. Despite multiple follow-up visits, he did not take any responsibility for the mistake and brushed off my mother's concerns. We had to seek a second opinion and get corrective surgery done by another surgeon. I would strongly advise against seeing Dr Tan Ter Chyan for any hand-related issues.
