Was the most beautiful place I have ever been to in uae. You literally drive through the clouds in some areas. Make sure your car tyres are in good conditions cos the climbs are quite steep. Rear wheel drive or 4x4 is an advantage but I have seen small sedans on the top too so it's basically driving skills that count too.
Amazing view at the top, road up the hill is dangerous very steep, sharp curves, half of the road fallen off at many places. be very vigilant on the ride... On downhill avoid breaks come in first gear on a bike use front and rear brakes alternatively.
I would go there anytime of the day. A perfect place to get away from the noise of the city and enjoy the calmness and peace surrounding by beautiful mountains. The weather is perfect even during the summer. Recommend to take jackets as it gets very cold sometimes
