There is a board in your lab saying priority is given to pregnant women, children, and senior citizens; there is no problem with that if you have 10 counters for registration and 10 collection rooms; but you have only 2 counters for registration and 2 collection rooms. It took us 2.5 hours this morning for the glucose tolerance test. You made your place disarray and chaotic with this policy of prioritization without planning. When we went to reception last week to make an appointment, the nice Filipino lady at the counter could have mentioned this delay to us based on our age (he asked for our age). You made this chaos on us, and mostly my wife, who came to the hospital at 5:30 am after spitting on herself because of the glucose; then was shouted at by one of the staff, telling her to stand up for others in the queue. No mercy; no common sense observed during this prioritization. I am writing this review after spending 2 and a half hours at the lab. We met another person who was doing the test for the second time with same procedures; earlier they were doing test every 30 minutes but now changed to every 15 minutes, making the matter worse, because people have to wait longer, which means less chance for them to focus on work in their worksite. Sorry for the descriptions; but I just wanted to indicate how bad are the consequences of this poorly planned prioritization. Waiting time was higher as a consequence. Your lab hours should match the doctors' available days and times in order to have fresh sample provided for a 2-hour test. Your lab and hospital should absorb the cost of this; I know it because I have some experience of working in such situations with different organizations. I wish you all well, BUT you REALLY NEED TO CHANGE YOUR SYSTEM. Thank you.
