One of the most hyped Pakistani restaurants in Dubai is definitely Ravi restaurant and I believe it doesn’t require any introduction as we too were too fancied by the name of this restaurant that after hearing a lot about it we decided to give it a try. We’re from Pakistan and after being here in Dubai for the last three years it couldn’t get more exciting for us to try out the desi food after quite long so we headed to Ravi restaurant and trust me we’re quite elated by their food. So, to begin with we ordered Mutton Karahi, Chicken Namkeen Karahi, Chicken Bihari Kebab, Biryani and Naan. The aroma of the food was enticing with the right proportion of spices infused that ensured every bite was a flavorsome one. The mutton was soft and tender with the flavors of the spices seeping into the meat aptly, whereas the Namkeen Karahi had a chatpatte element to it with flavors of tomatoes tantalizing your taste buds with every morsel you take. Apart from that, the Bihari Kebab were succulent with a smoky flavor and cooked to perfection, whereas the biryani had a blend of spices and extensive flavors that made it quite appetizing. The naan served was soft and fresh giving the authenticity to the entire experience. Salivating already? We came to know that their Nihari, Haleem, Seekh Kebab and Peshawari Mutton Karahi are more famous. Well, there’s always a next time. What I liked about this place was the way they have kept the presentation simplest, they kept the wooden tables, a traditional setup and the setup looked quite alluring, took me back to Pakistan in a jiffy. Now let’s talk about serving and portions. It was quite generous both in terms of serving and quantity that made this place even more admirable. Everyone serving you here is quite welcoming and friendly, no matter how busy they are, they make sure to cater to every guest with utmost attention. Overall, I had a fabulous experience here and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Since the hype is not a hype in this case, it's worth every penny spent. Price: AED 160 for two.
