Planet Fitness reviews
I joined planet fitness due to having a surgery that I was only allowed to lift less than 4kg. It was a safe alternative due to the machines as free weights could cause issues. It's a good beginner gym no doubt, good to join with your spouse.
Horrible policy. God forbid you end up in emergency surgery and are not able to pay up your credit cards. I was told that my account is going to collections after trying to cancel my membership.
I really liked the facilities and the staff. The biggest issue though was when it came to canceling a membership. I spoke to multiple people and was given different information each time. It was frustrating.
