Unlike many other airports Dubai still offers several free access smoking lounges. Depending on the time of day and their location these lounges can become a bit overcrowded and the ventilation system insufficient, but at downtimes they are good for a smoke break. Overall, it's a decent smoking lounge.

When I was there, it was incredibly busy and smokey. Once it cleared out a little, staff came in and attended to any tidying up needed. I was quite impressed with how clean and tidy it was, and grateful for the rest stop.

This place needs a better idea for preventing smoke from coming to the non-smoking areas. The areas C6 and C8 are like smoking zones. Anytime the smoking zone's door opens, smoke reaches everyone. I hope they improve the ventilation system.
